The calendar is Sonido is where all your scheduling for your studio will occur. Bookings on your calendar can be associated with Leads, Contacts, Bands/Groups, Companies or Projects, or they can be unassociated events - a general event that is not linked to any records in your Sonido account.
To view the calendar in Sonido, select "Bookings" from the Calendar section in the main menu.
FILTER - ROOMS
At the top of the Calendar view, there is a Room filter. This filter displays "All Rooms" by default, displaying bookings across all rooms in your studio in the view. If you wish to filter the bookings in the view by a room, you can select the appropriate room from the Room Filter list. This filter applies to the Sonido Professional Package that allows you to create and manage multiple rooms.
FILTER - USERS
There is also an option to filter the view by Users. By default, the Calendar will display bookings assigned to all users. If you would like to filter the view by one or more users, you can select the appropriate name(s) from the User Filter list, which will result in the Calendar view displaying only bookings where the selected user(s) is assigned.
You can select up to 6 users for the User Filter.
CREATE NEW BOOKING
To create a new booking, select the "+ Create New Booking" button (or alternatively, you may simply click an open time on the calendar view). The booking creation dialog will appear where you will populate necessary details to create the booking.
CALENDAR VIEW
The Calendar View is a traditional schedule view that allows you to view by a Month, Week or Day view. The Week view is displayed below. Each of the colors on the calendar correlate with a different room in the studio.
LIST VIEW
The List View is a simplified view in a list format that is idea for mobile devices (although it's fully functional on larger screens as well). The List View displays the furthest events in the future on top and the oldest events on bottom, and the same color coding format applies on each event, which is in reference to the room in the studio where the booking takes place.
USER AVAILABILITY OVERLAY
The Calendar view includes a user availability overlay, which is activated once one or more Users are selected within the User Filter. This overlay will display a blue background color that correlates with days and times during the week that the selected user is available. This overlay assists in viewing user availability for scheduling events on the Calendar without having to leave the view.
If more than one user is selected in the User Filter, there may be multiple overlays displayed in the view. It's generally most effective to filter by a single user at a time to view availability.
Users can adjust their availability in their Profile settings, which updates the user availability overlay accordingly.
The user availability settings also affect the availability for users within the Online Booking Portal.
