Sonido allows you the ability to specify a Project Type for a new Lead record or Project record. A Project Type is a classification for a project, and includes options such as: Music, Podcast, Audiobook, Voiceover, Post Productions and Other.
The Music Project Type is a little different than other Project Types. For example, when you create a Project for "Music", the record will display an "Artist/Group Name" and "Number of Songs" field related to the Project. These fields typically aren't as relevant to Project Types such as "Podcast", "Audiobook", and others, where these records aren't related to an Artist/Group or songs. Instead, other Project Types will includes fields for "Company Name" and "Number of Episodes" that are more relevant to those types of Projects.
PROJECT TYPES SETTINGS
You have the ability to specify which Project Types you'd like to work with in your Sonido account. You can turn off certain Project Types that may not be relevant to your studio business within the Company Settings. In Company Settings, you will scroll down to the "Project Types" section to determine which Project Types are relevant to your Projects. When you turn off a Project Type in this setting, that Project Type will no longer display in your account as an option when creating new Leads or Projects.
After making the appropriate selections in this settings page, be sure to press "Save."
