When a To Do is assigned, or delegated, to another user, Sonido Software will display notifications to make the user aware of the new To Do in their list.
SYSTEM NOTIFICATION
Immediately after the To Do has been created and assigned to the user(s), they will receive a system notification that indicates that they have been assigned to the To Do, along with the To Do details. This notification is primarily to make them aware of the To Do assignment.
EMAIL NOTIFICATION SETTING
Assigned users for a To Do may also receive an email notification for convenience, but this form of notification must first be turned on within the user settings.
To turn on To Do Email Notifications for your user account, select your username in the top-right corner of the site header and select the "My Profile" option from the list. Then, select the "Options" tab.
Find the "To Do Assignment Email Notification" setting, and change the toggle to "On", then press the Save button. This setting may be turned off at any time should you no longer want to receive notifications to your email address.
EMAIL NOTIFICATION
Once the To Do Assignment Email Notification setting is turned on, you will begin receiving To Do assignment notifications via email for any To Dos that are created and assigned to your user.
TO DO REMINDER EMAIL NOTIFICATION
If a To Do is created with a reminder, an email notifications will be sent out to the assigned user(s) based on the reminder time that is set when the To Do was saved. For example, if we create a To Do with a due date of tomorrow at 12:00pm, and the reminder is set for 1 hour prior to the due date, the assigned user would receive an email notification as a reminder for the To Do at that indicated reminder time.
