Price Lists within Sonido allows you to build template pricing into your account for use within Financials (Quotes and Invoices). You have the ability to set up various price items which include a Name, a Rate (price) and a Description.
Once created, you can then easily add these Price List items into a Quote or Invoice, eliminating the need to manually populate all details. The Price List option provides a greater level of flexibility for you and/or your team in sending an Invoice, for example, with standardized pricing in place.
CREATE A PRICE LIST ITEM
To begin using the Price List feature, you will first need to create any Price List items that you'd like within your account. You can access the Price List management page by going to Settings -> Custom Fields -> Price List.
From here, you will see any Price List items that have already been created.
To create a new Price List item, select "+ Create New Price List". A dialog will appear where you can populate the details on the new Price List item:
- Name - you will populate the Name of the item that you wish to display.
- Rate - you will populate the rate (cost) of the Price List item. The Quantity will always default to "1", so your rate should be consistent with a quantity of "1".
- Description - you will populate any description related to the Price List item. This can be viewable or hidden within a Quote or Invoice where you add a Price List item.
After adding all relevant fields, you may select the "Save" button to save your Price List item. If you don't see the item display in the list, refresh your screen and it should display.
After creating a Price List item, if will now be available for selection within your Quotes and Invoices.
